Our recommendation

The T101 is the walker and jogger's machine. The 7.0 AT is the same idea grown up: five more inches of belt, 2 more mph, a stronger motor, and the dial controls interval runners love. If anyone in the house will run weekly, the step-up pays for itself in stride room alone.

Running room

55 x 20 in and 10 mph against 60 x 20 in and 12 mph. That gap is the entire decision for taller or faster users; below it, the T101 gives up nothing a walker can feel.

Controls

The 7.0 AT's thumb dials change pace without a reach or a glance down. The T101's quick keys are fine at steady speeds and merely adequate during intervals.

Choose Horizon Fitness Horizon T101 Connect Treadmill if…

Choose Horizon Fitness Horizon 7.0 AT Treadmill if…

  • Anyone using it is tall
  • You change pace often mid-workout

FAQ

Questions, answered straight

Is the 7.0 AT louder?

Owner reports put both among the quieter home machines; the 7.0 AT's drive tuning keeps it composed at speeds the T101 cannot reach.
