HomeGymLedger is an independent publication. These policies govern every guide, review, and comparison on the site.

Independence

• No paid placement, sponsored rankings, or manufacturer-written content.
• Rankings are set by the comparison framework on our How we evaluate page, never by commission rates.
• Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every page that carries affiliate links.

Sourcing

• Specifications come from manufacturer documentation and are cross-checked with retailer listings.
• Owner feedback is reported as recurring qualitative themes, never as invented ratings, percentages, or review counts.
• Health-related fit notes (for example, low-impact equipment for sensitive knees) describe load and mechanics only and are not medical advice.

Labeling

Our reviews are research-based assessments built from specifications and published reports. Every review carries an assessment note saying so. We never describe a product as tested by us unless we have physically used it, and research-based pages are never written to imply otherwise.

Updates

Pages carry update dates. Material changes to a recommendation are made in the open: the pick changes, the date changes, and superseded advice is removed rather than left standing.
