NordicTrack EXP 7i Review (2027): The Daily Folder Done Right
Full research review of the EXP 7i: SpaceSaver fold quality, 55-inch belt limits, iFIT value, and who should buy the T202 instead.

NordicTrack EXP 7i Treadmill
iFIT folding runner with a 7-inch screen and an assisted deck lower.
- 2.75 CHP
- Motor
- 0-10 mph
- Speed range
- 0-12%
- Incline
Our verdict
The EXP 7i understands its buyer: someone who will fold this machine hundreds of times and run on it in between. The assisted fold is the best daily routine in the guide, the incline is real, and the 7-inch screen is big enough without turning the console into a television. Its compromises are a 55-inch belt and the iFIT membership that the whole experience leans on. If your room demands a daily fold and your training welcomes classes, it is the folding treadmill to beat.
What we like
- SpaceSaver fold with assisted lowering, no dead-lifting the deck
- 7-inch touchscreen runs the full iFIT library
- Incline to 12% for hill work at this size
What to watch out for
- Membership shapes the whole console experience
- 55-inch belt asks tall runners to mind their stride
Who it is for
Runners and joggers in multi-use rooms who fold after most sessions.
The fold, in daily practice
SpaceSaver with assisted lowering means the deck comes down at the speed the hydraulics choose, not the speed gravity chooses. Owners who fold daily name this first, ahead of the screen. The latch is positive, the deck sits stable when down, and the whole cycle is a one-person, one-minute routine.
Running on a 55-inch belt
Fifty-five inches jogs and runs comfortably for most heights, and taller runners adapt by running slightly forward on the deck. It is not the 60-inch standard, and marathoners should read the F65 review. For interval and fitness running, the 2.75 CHP motor and 12 percent incline cover the work.
iFIT, again the deciding factor
As with every iFIT machine in our guides: with the membership, this is a coached training system that happens to fold. Without it, it is a pleasant treadmill with a quiet screen. There is no middle state, so decide before delivery, not after the trial ends.

FAQ
Questions, answered straight
How small is the EXP 7i folded?
It folds upright against the console like its class, cutting floor length by well over half. Measure your spot's height too; upright folders stand tall.
Can two users share the iFIT account on it?
iFIT memberships are account-based with profiles; check the current plan terms on the listing, as NordicTrack has changed plan structures between model years.
